Kitchens without handles
Now this idea of designers is very popular among people. "Kitchen of the future", "Space furniture" - this is how this style is called.
What is so special about the current kitchens without handles? Is this really a good solution? We'll find out now.
Kitchens without handles: advantages and disadvantages.
To assess the convenience of a kitchen without handles, we will find its advantages and disadvantages. Advantages of these kitchens:
- The kitchen seems to be of large size;
- Characterized by comfort, hospitality.
- Small passages will be more convenient, since you will not catch on the handles;
- Makes cleaning easier, as you don't have to constantly wipe the handles;
- Creates a trendy futuristic kitchen design.
And then consider the disadvantages of a headset without handles:
- You need to adapt to such a headset. To open and close lockers, you need to get used to it. Everyone can decide for himself whether this option is suitable for him, using it for about 3-5 days;
- Often needs to purchase additional mechanisms and electric drives, which makes the cost of the headset more expensive.
What are the varieties of kitchens without handles?
Integrated profile handles
Profile handles for the kitchen cut into the end part of the facade, most often horizontally.
If you cook in the kitchen, open the drawers all the time, you don't touch the facades. So there are no greasy stains and other dirt on the furniture. This is a great advantage of the mortise handle profile.
However, there is also a minus: since this design is just beginning to be implemented, there are few options for such handles.
The template version in our time is an aluminum profile (white, black, chrome-plated). Despite this, the kitchen without handles with a profile looks unusual and rich:
Push-open mechanism: intuitive operation
This facade opens with a light click on the box. The drawer is closed in exactly the same way.
And in order to avoid contamination of the facade, you can touch not with your fingers, but, for example, with your elbow. It also helps if your hands are busy. A very comfortable invention! To date, this option is the most common among kitchens without handles.
Invisible pens
There is another interesting approach - hiding the handles from the image of the kitchen by painting them in the color of the facade. In order to pay attention to them, you need to take a good look. Such a kitchen is characterized by neatness and conciseness.
Milled handles on facades
If the above options do not suit someone, there is another idea - milling handles. Namely, their cutting out directly in the facades in the form of smooth recesses.
Despite constant use, the facades are not heavily polluted and remain clean and sparkling. Also, these handles are not particularly conspicuous, which is also an advantage.
You can also combine two types in one design: from below - milled or hidden handles for the kitchen, from above - Push-open mechanisms. So you can open the upper lockers with a light tap, and the lower ones with invisible handles.
